I know I have to find a better translation for the italians term “posto fisso”. This idea affects job area but not only that area. When you say in Italian posto fisso you are not just saying something about having an employ. If you have a posto fisso it means that you get settled. You are arrived. You don’t have nothing more to do or to achieve. Ok, maybe you’d like to develop your career but it isn’t mandatory. Guy, you have a posto fisso! What more can you desire?
Unfortunately, a pair of years ago I asked myself that question (what more can you desire?) and the answer was that I wanted an entirely different life, a different struggle and totally new goals to achieve. I wrote about my personal escape from the settlement on my Wordpress blog, in Italian, and now I’m going to translate and post that pieces here. I hope someone could like them and find something in common with this weird Italian girl, who “fece il gran rifiuto" ;)
